"Switch off" Ringtone for Shared Line

Hello all

I'm looking to find a solution for users they have a shared line on the phone and want this line not ringing, only the flash light should alert an incoming call. I know that I'm able to configure this as administrator, but we want that the user is able to activate or deactivate the ringtone.

We have CUCM 10.5.2 in place.

Does anybody have an idea?

Hi Pascal,

This option is not available on the physical phone menu.You can only change the ringtones from ip phone, can not change the alerting options to flashing or anything else. This has to be done from cucm.
