Hi,
My phone system (CCM and CUC )has been up for long time without any issue.
Only today 3 users told me that while they were on a call , all of a sudden the phone start registering and the call is dropped and then phone is back up in service.
Is there anyway I can check why this happened
What might be the cause as all other phones had no issues.
Thanks
Tazio

Hi,
Only 3 IP Phones?
That could be many things, you can start looking at the switch to see the port status.
Check these links too to help your troubleshooting:
Use RTMT to see the reason of this lost of register.

Hi,
Thanks for the quick reply.
I got 3 complaints because those users were on call at that time so they lost the call that is why they complained. But i asked couple of other users and some did not even notice anything but some also said that they saw the phone registering , but this happened very quickly.
My users are spread out on couple of different SW an I checked the ports on each SW where those users are connected. The ports are clean and no errors.
I will go through the link a bit later today.
As for RTMT, I was there but did not know how to get information about specific ext (or phone).
Thanks

Only today 3 users told me that while they were on a call , all of a sudden the phone start registering and the call is dropped and then phone is back up in service. So this happened when they where on a call, looks like a network issue which made the phone to restart .
