Hi,
I am using CME as SRST with Call Manger 8.6 with H323 gateway protocol and everything is working fine. My problem is that when the phone is on the SRST mode, the system message changes to my customized message. When the WAN connection is back, I can call other extension over the WAN but the system message doesn't change. How can I change the system message when the phone has connection to Call Manager without reseting the phone? Anybody has any idea? Appreciate the help.

So when it goes back to CUCM it keeps the SRST message on the display?

Yes, the message doesn't change.

Sounds like a bug, perhaps firmware bug on the phones.
What phone models are you using and what firmware?
