I used in the configuration the following commands:
ip dhcp pool sip_3911
host 172.17.6.118 255.255.0.0
client-identifier 0100.1aa1.1b97.14

As i pick up the phone I get a busy number. The phone seems that has the right parameters, SIP configuration: number, name and authentication name, correctly loaded its firmware and got ip address but is not registered, this could be an authentication problem but it doesn't seem so due to the authentication register and user and password are correctly been set.

Take "debug ccsip message" with "term mon".
09-17-2009 05:17 AM
also add 'debug tftp events' please
09-17-2009 06:14 AM
09-17-2009 06:16 AM
09-17-2009 06:24 AM
Please take "debug ccsip messages" and "debug tftp events" after your turn on the phone. Do not enable any other debugs.
09-17-2009 07:44 AM
The only logs that i get with both debug enabled are the following:
015291: Sep 17 15:39:08.369: TFTP: Looking for SEP001AA11B9714.cnf.xml
015292: Sep 17 15:39:08.373: TFTP: Opened flash:/SEP001AA11B9714.cnf.xml, fd 0, size 2924 for proce

015295: Sep 17 15:39:09.521: TFTP: Looking for Spanish_Spain/ld-sip.jar
Even though I am a bit confused because i change the simple value of number or try to change the firmware just in case i had it wrong and it keeps displaying on the phone the old data.

You sure it's a 3911? It's asking for a 3951 firmware file.

Hi,
For SIP phones on CME, after any config changes you make, you need to do execute 'create profile' under the voice register global, this will build the config files again. Unlike Skinny phones, for SIP phones you have to do it everytime to update the profile.
Also, can you provide the following output
show voice register global tftp-binding
thanks,

I have checked the .cnf.xml and seems everything correct. I have deleted and generated it again.
Reloaded the phone and it gets the name, number and firmware correctly but there is no way to get it registered.

Can you take debug ccsipemessage please.
09-21-2009 06:35 AM
Seems that debug ccsip messages doesn't give any kind of messages.
I have taken as well debug tftp events:
CME-Telenor#debug ccsip messages
SIP Call messages tracing is enabled
CME-Telenor#debug tftp
CME-Telenor#debug tftp events
TFTP Event debugging is on

I have no idea what .xml stands for and neither English_United_States/ld-sip.jar, where should I get them from?
On the phone i have number, name and authentication name well taken. There is no vlan created and is using the default one.
