Is it possible can i enable the remote destination for the IPMA proxy line?

CUCM will probably let you but I don't see the use case for this. The Remote Destination is not CTI-controllable so the assistant won't be able to take any actions from the console. Also, the proxy line won't be used if the assistant isn't logged in and ready in the console. Based on these limitations I don't see how it will be useful. Either give the assistant a wireless headset; or, a softphone if they need to proxy calls when not in the office.

Hi Jonathan,
The situation here is the customer willing to run the IPMA all the time included the lunch hours. So the assistant can enable the mobility so any call into the Manager Proxy line will be able to reach by assistant instead of voice mail or drop call.
Ya, the IPMA must be turning on all the will in order to activate the process.
thank you.

Hi,
I have found the solution by request customer to log into the user page to enable the remote destination after get forwarded to personal DN.
Thanks you
