Replace caller id by name requesting an external database using a TCL Script
I want to know if it's possible with a TCL Script on a PSTN Gateway to perform this scenario:
1 - When an incoming call arrives on the PRI/BRI Interface, the Script "capture" the caller id
2 - The script send a request (LDAP, SQL or other protocol ?) to an external Database (LDAP directory, xml file ???) to search if this "caller id" is in the database and what is the name associated to it
3 - The Script replace the caller id by the name and send it to the Cisco IpPhone. This Name is displaying on the screen of the IpPhone
Thanks in advance for your answer and to share with me your experience on TCL Scripts
