Required OMAN PRI Configuration Examples

Hi,

I need to remotel configure one E1 PRI configuration in OMAN.The ISP is OMAN Tel.

If some one helps to share the E1 configuration for OMAN  like what is the ISDN Switch type ,Framing,clock source ,line code.

if any sample configuration can share would be better.

E1 PRI configuration is the same in all countries. You do not need to have a specific example, but you need to know what you are doing.

As rightly said by Mr. Paolo, you do not find any major change in E1 config.You need to know switch-type,framing.

Thanks for your reply.

Attached is the Sh_Controller E1 and ISDN Status.We have 10 channels.

ISP is saying from their end is ok.

If any one can share what is the ISDN Switch type using in Oman would better.

As per ISP they said they are using framing CRC4 and Switch type as EURO ISDN.But I could not find the Switch type in the CME.

E1 0/0/0 is down.

  Applique type is Channelized E1 - balanced

  Transmitter is sending remote alarm.

  Receiver is getting AIS.

Not OK, check cabling and with telco. If they keep saying "all Ok" have them come on your premises, with their own test equipment, and place and receive call while you watch. Do not accept explaiantion like "circuit have been loop tested", etc.

Switch type is always primary-net5.
