Er, CUCM 8.0 doesn't run on Windows. The last version of CUCM to run on Windows was CUCM 4. CUCM V5 & onwards all run on a Cisco specific version of Linux.

Hi Gordon.
Good Day , sorry is my mistake.
How about from Version 5 ( Windows Based ) to migrate over to Linux based . possible ?
what is the requirement for the migration ?

That' can't be, CUCM 5.X and anything above that version is Linux based. Gordon already explained that in his post.
"CUCM V5 & onwards all run on a Cisco specific version of Linux."
Go into your server and log into CCMAdmin to find out the EXACT version you're running.
ALL the documentation you need to do the upgrade is in this 3 links:

http://www.cisco.com/en/US/products/sw/voicesw/ps556/prod_installation_guides_list.html
Carefully review all the above documentation.
