I am trying to configure a Route Pattern for the range 72425 - 72524... I configured 72[45]XX. Is there a better / shorter way to do this ?

I don't think there is a shorter way to do this.
There is probably a better way to limit the range by creating multiple Route Patterns but I don't think this is what you are looking for.

Pierre,
Yes you are right. I was just trying to find out if I had a way to consolidate this range into one RP & avoid configuring multiple ones.
Best Regards,
Ashok.

You cannot configure that in just 1 statement, you need at least 4 patterns to cover that range, your lower and upper limits cause a lot of problems when it comes to summarizing.
You need to cover this 4 ranges each with 1 route pattern.
72425-72429
72430-72499
72500-72520
72521-72524
