Secure RTP Requirements?

Hi

I am looking at implementing Secure RTP between our CUBE and the ISTP.

There are guides on how to do this which is great but would I also need to implement SRTP between the CUBE and the CUCM server?

Basically is SRTP and end to end requirement from phone to ITSP or can we just use it between CUBE and ISTP?

Thanks

To achieve this you need to configure SRTP passthrough on the CUBE at your end as well as on the CUBE of  your Service Provider.

Thanks, would that mean SRTP would be used from end to end or just from CUBE to ITSP?

The requirements is up to you, or your customer, you can have it secured end to end (assuming your ITSP provides a way to configure SRTP between your CUBE and them), you can have non-secure end to end, or you can have it secure from CUBE towards your CUCM, or towards your telco (again, assuming you can configure that)

There is no technical requirement to have secure end to end imposed by Cisco.
