Secure URLs

I upgraded my 797X from 8.5.3sr1 to 9.2 and now they use the Secure Authentication/Directories URL using https instead of regular http port 8080

is it normal?

I dont find it documented.

If memory is correct it was CUCM 7 that introduced secure URLs for phone services.

Security by default (HTTPS services as well as the Initial Trust List (ITL)) were newly added in CUCM 8.x.  Here's the section of the security guide that goes over it:
