Hi all,
I have a query regarding Cisco UC560.
Is it possible to setup a new hunt group for an extension?
For example, we have 2 extensions 2347 and 2386.
Number 2347 belongs to Sam 2386 belongs to Dave.
Outside users call the number 9700 2347 directly if they wish to speak to Sam.
Can I setup a hunt group so that if someone rings 2347 or 9700 2347, both Sam and Dave phone ring at the same time?
Regards,
Vignesh.

Hi Vignesh,
Go to 2386' ephone and put "button 2:557" it should work.
e.g.
ephone xx
button 2:557

1. You can share the line 2347 in both Sam and Dave phone so that it rings both the phones.
2. You can create hunt pilot 2347 and keep hunt pilot (2347) and Sam DN (2347) in different partition. Under hunt group, assign Sam (2347) and Dave (2386) device. Ensure that under calling device/gateway CSS, hunt pilot (2347) partition lists on the top.

Hi Vivek,
Do I have to go ephone interface for extension 2347 to share the line?
Here is the config for extension 2347
ephone-dn 557 dual-line
number 2347 secondary 97002347 no-reg primary
label Sam
description Sam
name Sam
call-forward busy 2399
call-forward noan 2399 timeout 20

Hi Vignesh,
I thought you are on CUCM environment. To configure shared line, please follow the steps suggested by Suresh.
