Hi,

I'm trying to upgrade cucm via cisco OS the gui.

But im not quiet sure how to set freeftpd client and the cucm  source destination.

I have my ISO files in my hard disk ( c:/cucm-files)

But it keeps saying username or password is not valid, and sometimes it says remote location could not find.

PFA the settings

thanks for correcting me.

You need to have directory as  / in call manager.

Then, use a valid IP for the remote filesystem in CUCM, I suggest you bind freeftpd to just one IP.

If your root directory is already c:\cucm-files, then that's your ROOT directory, and that's where you want to point. Right now, you're telling CUCM to look into c:\cucm-files\cucm-files

Jaime,

Yes ive changed it.

However still no success

In the dropdown menu of my freeftp client i can choose one of the ip addresses.

Sometimes it says :

The remote server could not be located.

and also wrong username and password.

I have changed it couple of times, yesterday i have spent 8 hours working on this.

no firewall etc.

Hi , Avoid using any folder in freeftpd config and in call manager. Simply use c:\ Regds, Aman

unfortunately didn't help

There are a lot of videos on how to configure this in YouTube, have you watched any?

And if I understood correctly what Aman suggested, using c:\ in the CUCM configuration, yeah, that will NEVER WORK.

You use the relative path to what you defined as root in your SFTP, not the absolute path where the files are in the server hosting SFTP.

Hi everyone ,

Finally it worked!
Seems that you also have to define your " home directory"in your sftp client.
I've put c:\cop
And in cucm software upgrade configuration ive put
\
sftp
and it worked fine
However want to thank everyone for the help.
