Hello everyone,
I´m facing an issue about the display internal name in shared line on UCM server version 9.1. The secretary has shared lines in her 7960 phone.
When her boss is not in the office, she usually answers the call, however the calling internal user can´t see her internal name in the display. The internal user can only see her internal extension instead off her internal name.
Any idea about it?

Hi Claudio,
Have you checked all 4 settings on all the shared line appearances? Having it set on one phone of a shared line config but not another will impact the outcome
For calls that you make to the DN, these configs are used for CLID;
Under Directory number information (top of page)
Alerting Name
ASCII Alerting Name
When they call you, these configs are used for CLID;
Under Line x (bottom of page)
Display (Internal Caller ID)
ASCII Display (Internal Caller ID)
Cheers!
Rob

Hi rob.huffman,
Under Directory number information (top of page)
1) Alerting Name is set properly on UCM
2) ASCII Alerting Name is set properly on UCM
Under Line x (bottom of page)
1) Display (Internal Caller ID) is not set on UCM
2) ASCII Display (Internal Caller ID) is not set on UCM
This custom settings are working on my old UCM server and they work properly. I think this is not the solution.
The problem is when the secretary answer the call of the boss (the shared line on the Cisco 7914 expansion module). I can´t see the name of the secretary, I can only see the extension of the secretary.
