Shared lines - How to disable pop up incoming call

Hi,

Here's a scenario of what we have been experiencing:

User1 and User2 shares a line.

1. CallerA calls User1 and ask her to transfer to a mobile number.

2. User1 press [Transfer] button and try to key in a mobile number.

3. While User1 is inputting the mobile number, CallerB calls User2.

4. Since User2's line is listed on User1's expansion module, User1's phone screen will show User2's incoming call.

5. This will block User1's screen to input the mobile number.

      - Is it possible to disable this? So that when someone calls User2, there won't be any effect on User1's screen.

Any suggestions/recommendations will be highly appreciated.

Hi Rona,

Try changing the System setting Auto-Call Select. With this Enabled the Display Focus (and Softkeys) always switch to the new incoming call. So if disabled the focus and Softkeys will stay on Call #1.

Also available on an individual phone via this setting

Device>Phone>Phone Configuration>Product Specific Configuration>Auto Call Select>Disabled
