show ccm-manager: duplicate of primary

Hi guys,

What does it mean to have "duplicate of primary", under Status, in "show ccm-manager"? And why should one configure the same call agent as a backup for itself?

Can you share the running config of the gateway.

Need to check the following config

mgcp call agent X.X.X.X

ccm-manager redundant host X.X.X.X

ccm-manager config server X.X.X.X

Is there a repitition in any of the above IP addresses?

Hi

1st do "no mgcp"  on your gateway ,to disable mgcp then apply the below commands

(conf)#mgcp call-agent x.x.x.x  (where x.x.x.x is the IP address of your Subscriber).

(conf)#ccm-manager redundant-host x.x.x.x (where x.x.x.x the IP address of your Publisher).

(conf)# ccm-manager switchback immediate

(conf)#ccm-manager mgcp

(conf)#mgcp

That is all, then make sure on your ccm group list that your (subscriber is the 1st then your publisher) or based on your configuration.
