I have seen a lot of information regarding ways to monitor the Status of SIP trunks and currently am utilizing voice-class sip options-keepalive to busy out the dial-peer and EEM to generate syslog and e-mail messages. A significant amout of of monitoring utilizes SNMP polling and I prefer to use this method for many reasons.
In the research i have done, I thought i had run across the SNMP OID that reported the options-keepalive failures (503), but i can not find that document nor can i find the being reported from the SIP-UA mib.
Does anyone know what OID this is tracked in ?
Alternatively does anyone know how to track the status of the dial-peer via snmp? I found an old document that shows the corelation between show dial-peer voice sum and the snmp OID (from interface MIB), but the operational status shows UP even when busied out.
Any advice or direction would be apreciated
Thanks in advance

Hi Dave
I know been three years now your question being unanswered, but maybe you found the OID you we're looking for, and this is exactly what I am searching for today :-)
If you found it can you share?
As you said it is easy to do with syslog but it's way better with SNMP
Thanks

I know it has been 10 years since the OP's question was unanswered and no answer to your reply but I am looking to accomplish the same thing.
Did you ever find a way to do this?
