Hi,
We experience a problem with a SIP trunk between CUCM (6.0 and 8.0 <- Customers) and a Huawei SoftX3000 (Provider).
The problem is that the Call Manager (6 & 8) does'nt accept calls from Huawei.
The problem appears even if we use a voice gateway using IOS 12.4.11T2.
It said that there is a Bad Request - Invalid SDP Information
So we ask : What is the Valid SDP information for Cisco, so that we can tell to the provider the thing to do.
in 12.4.24T5 (CME, or IPtoIP Gateway) the call pass but cannot be transferred to a MeetingPlace. I think the MP7 deny it because the SDP is also invalid for it.
We try with other PBX like Asterisk, and everything works fine.
Any helps please?
Regards,
Antra

hi,
In the debugs , the following is seen...
-looks like provider is sending you a null or binary character in the inbound sip sdp ...
-also errors related to multipart MIME ....
Jul 15 11:07:36.767: //-1/xxxxxxxxxxxx/SIP/Error/sippmh_get_body_length: Boundary not found in multipart body
Jul 15 11:07:36.767: //-1/xxxxxxxxxxxx/SIP/Error/sipUtilPvtParseMimeContent: Content body missing or abrupt msg termination...bailing out
Jul 15 11:07:36.767: //-1/7B4C1D4F8034/SIP/Error/act_idle_new_message: sipAppSetMessage failed
There is an enhancement request related to this , you can try one of the given workarounds ....
Thanks,
Karthik

Hi,
Thank you Karthik.
I've asked them to change the ptime value to 20.
Iand asked the Provider to remove the ISUP, and everithing worked fine.
The application/isup version is in chinese, so the SIP in our side doesn't understand it, thus it tryes to interpret the message and get an " ` " message and somme understood messages (null binary as you said).
and also the message incompleted.
All these problems result the Invalid SDP Information
See in the last message of the INVITE bellow

Sorry
The web interface of this forum doesn't support also the binary message.
So you will just see a " ` "
