Hi
This is my first question so hopefully I am posting in the correct place. I need to create a SIP trunk with our service provider but I've never done it before and want to know if anyone can give me some assistance. I we have got a Cisco 2911 router directly connected to the SIP trunk port on the provider router. Any configuration assistance would be greatly appreciated.
I have been given a document from the provider which shows a few things like ip address and user ID and password but I don't know what I need to do to set this up. I have setup a PRI to a provider before but not done a SIP Trunk just yet.
Thank you again for any assistance.

Hey
Thank you for the reply. This seems fair straight forward but what happens with regards to the physical connection? What are you expected to see from the provider? Will it just be a case of connecting the Cisco Router directly to it and configuring the IP address?
Thanks again
