SNR with GSM gateway

if I implement SNR and use a quescom GSM gateway does this have an effect on the ability to hand the call back to desk phone?

the customer basically does not want to pay for the 2nd call leg as they get free minutes from their mobile provider

any major issues using it this way?

Hi,

I have tested this and it seems to work ok.

Environment is:

• CUCM 7.1(3)
• 7960 & IP Communicator 7.0 phones
• Quescom GSM300 with 5.2 software
• Vodafone UK SIMs

I only have two users configured at the moment but all the features seem ok include deskphone pickup and send call to mobile phone.

I will be configuring it for about a dozen more users in about a month - will post here if there are any problems.

A couple of questions for you re. Quesom:

1. Have you configured inbound SMS to email on the Quescom box you have deployed? - if yes can you let me know what configuration guide you followed? - I cannot find anything on their web site.
2. Does inbound DTMF work from mobile phones calling your Quescom box? - I cannot get this working for my deployment.
