We are migrating phones to a new VLAN/Subnet:
Callmanager 4.1.3
We have setup a new VLAN/ SUBNET and 7911G, 7965G cannot get a lease from the DHCP server. 7945G can get leases. Erased the configuration, no lease. Move the phone back to the existing VLAN we get a lease.
The scope works for one model but not others? There are less than 5 phone on the new subnet.
7911 Firmware Release(no Lease): SCCP11.8-3-4SR1S
7945 Firmware Release(Lease): SCCP45.8-3-4SR1S
7965 Firmware Release(no Lease): SCCP45.8-3-4SR1S
We have confirmed the IP helper is correct and on the layer 3 interface (the 7945G get an IP address).
We have confirmed the vlan is extended and configured on the switch port(Static IP on the affected model let it work).
We have packet capture from the affected phone and see discover go out but no response.
This seems to be firmware related but can not find an exact BUG to cover the scenerio.
