Hi Community,
I'm actually tryihg to configure a SPAN Destination Port which is also able to send and receive Traffic for the host itself. This feature should be possible with the "ingress" sub-command.
Here 's a sniplet of my config:
!
interface GigabitEthernet1/0/23
description *** SPAN DESTINATION PORT ***
switchport access vlan 178
switchport mode access
!
monitor session 1 source vlan 110 // PhoneVLAN = 110
monitor session 1 destination interface Gi1/0/23 ingress untagged vlan 178 // 178 = Access-VLAN für Host
!
With this config it's possible to receive the span traffic, but no "regular" traffic is received or send.
Maybe anybody has a idea...
Cheers
Torsten

What model switch are you using? This is not supported on many lower-end switch models.
