How can I manipulate the outbound calls bet. phones on SRST?
For the internal calls, users will be able to dial 4-digit and reach the 10-digit phones registered on the router.
Ex: the user would dial x1111.
We want append areacode+Nxx (123456) to an extension range [1000 thru 2089]
The dialed number will be manipulated as:
(123)456-1111 or (123)456-1244

For Cisco CallManager Express 3.3, certain files must be downloaded and installed in the Cisco CallManager Express router Flash memory.
To download the Cisco CallManager Express software, refer to Software Download: Cisco CallManager Express/ITS and SRST.

If you are trying to dial between IP phones on the SRST router, as long as you have this command under "call-manager-fallback", you should be good:
dialplan-pattern 1 1234561... extension-length 4
dialplan-pattern 2 1234562... extension-length 4
If what you are trying to do is dial an IP phone at a remote site in SRST mode, you need to use the "num-exp" command to build dialing rules for your outbound calls
EXAMPLE:
you are an IP phone in SiteA: (123)456-1111
DID extension: 1111
you need to reach an IP phone at SiteB: (212)444-5555
DID extension: 5555
here is what your num-exp command would look like:
num-exp 5555 2124445555
OR, you can use the command and mask a series of DID numbers:
num-exp 5... 2124445...
Hope this helps.....

We have the following setup:
dial-peer cor custom
name PT-911
dial-peer cor list css-911
dial-peer voice 1 pots
incoming called-number
dial-peer voice 9 pots
corlist outgoing css-911
ephone-dn
number 2125551212
cor incoming called-number
cor list css-911
How do we associate the following with all DID extension without any css-restrictions?
dialplan-pattern 1 1234561... extension-length 4
Our DID range would require more than a couple of dial-pattern enteries. How many patterns can we have? I thought that there is a limitation for dial-patterns.
The doc.'s also suggest to use translation-profile/rules. If that is the case, how should we do that?
The following example was not that that clear:
voice translation-rule 1
rule 1 /^\(70..\)/ /212555\1/
voice translation-profile outbound
translate calling 1
