Subscriber configuration changes

Hi,

Here is a scenario:

Publisher on central site, and a subscriber on a remote site (cluster over the WAN)

On the remote site is a 3rd party application that 'locks' the phone after 18:00 (changing CSS from devices)

In the morning people are unlocking there phone's by accessing a service, give a password, and the 3rd party application 'unlockes' the phone.

Now we have in the night a problem and the publisher crashes, the publisher is dead.

On the remote site they can not use the telephone's because (as far as I know) the CSS can not be changed on a subscriber.

The publisher is really defect and will take at least a day to repair, and the remote site MUST have telephony.

How could we solve a problem like this?

Any idea is welcome.

Thanks,

Jan

Unfortunately you can't, as you know the only full read/write DB is the one in the PUB. Any SUB DB is only allowed to perform UFF changes and that means only some values and only from the phones. CSS is not one of them.

Once the connection is lost to the PUB the DB locks down for any other purpose.

The only thing that you could try and I'm not even sure it will work as the DB should be locked down, would be to try to use the run SQL command to try and modify the configured CSS from a phone.
