Hi All,
I need to to make a simple config on CallManager express.
I need to make a 4 digits number when dialed be transformed to a PSTN number and routed.
How can i do that in a way that is available for every dn on the system.
Do i need to create a dial-peer and apply the translations or there is a way do apply that in another place?
Like i can do that using the Callmanager fallback in a SRST gateway..but i didint found something similar in express.

you may use translation like here http://elhallak.wordpress.com/2011/06/30/dial-peer-example/
or maybe just fast dial like here http://elhallak.wordpress.com/2011/07/09/abbreviated-dialing-for-cme/

Thanks linux,
Teh abreaviated dialing is exactly what i was wanting.
I thought this was only applied to expand the DN.
Just to confirm....I want that when user dials 4001 the call be redirected to a toll-free number.
If is use num-exp will work, right?
According to Cisco
To define how to expand a telephone extension number into a particular destination pattern, use the num-exp command in global configuration mode. To cancel the configured number expansion, use the no form of this command.
num-exp extension-number expanded-number
no num-exp extension-number

Hi,
You can apply a translation rule to the voice port going out to the pstn .
