We currently have 14 T1 PRIs on two 3825 routers, using copper T1 cards . We are moving to a new data center and will be required to extend the copper demarc 1000 ft. Due to architectural constraints, the telco cannot extend it for us. I'm hoping to find Cisco's best practices to accomplish this. I know copper is only recommended up 100m, so is a fiber solution the best method? Should we throw switches between both ends to do the copper to fiber conversion using some sort of individual vlan configs for each circuit, or would a simple copper to fiber converter be the best answer? Are there fiber T1 cards we can adopt? Is there a better solution I'm not thinking of? I appreciate any advice you can provide.

I believe the maximum length with a Cisco T1 card is 655 feet.
Here's an option for extending up to 3.5 miles.
