I know that this may be heresy, but some customers seem to have bitten on the "free" Lync capabilities.
Have a potential customer that has a bunch of Tandberg Edge95's and a MX6000 that they are using for H.323 video today. I am providing them quotes for an MCU to be able to do more endpoints in a single call.
But they are also thinking that as they roll out Lync, have not started yet, they want that to be able to use the bridge as well. I am trying to stop a Polycom sale, but the fact that Polycom "interoperates" with Lync today, that might be one of their key factors.
Anyone have any thoughts on this, or some information I can use?
Thanks

Have you thought about Cisco Jabber and communicating the benefits of this over Microsoft Lync? Matt
