hi all

We have our two T1 terminated to the voice gateway (cube),  we have a  plan to send the calls to Cucm by configuring mgcp in the voice gateway and register the gateway in cucm,my ask is what will the

Good option to send the calls to cucm? Mgcp configuration or  send the calls to cucm via sip configuration so that if we replace sip trunk with E1 it will easy to migrate.

Any body have second thought in this or ur suggestion please ? example config ?

The good thing about MGCP is that allows you control both the incoming DIDs and the dial-plan for them at CUCM. The gives you a centralized management which reduces administration costs. If the router that terminates the T1 does not currently terminate any other SIP/H323 trunk (I am not referring only to trunks to the ITSP but, for example, to other PBXs) I would go with MGCP.

Should you change in the future to SIP, the changes, regarding the CUCM-router part, are not that big.
