Time of Day Routing

 I have a shared extension (not a hunt pilot) which the users would like to have forwarded to another extension, or a cell number, outside of business hours. I thought I could use TOD routing but after going through the documentation (System Guide, Admin Guide, etc.) and looking at the configuration parameters for the elements, it appears that it may not work.  No mention of forwarding to an extension.  Just applying the partition to a hunt pilot.

This is CUCM 8.6(2).  The simple thing would be to use Call Forward All manually but that is apparently "undesirable".

If I'm missing something, or if someone has a suggestion to accomplish this I would appreciate it.

ToD would work just fine for what you are trying to do, simply do the following:

1. create new time periods that covers after-hours
2. create new time schedule using the periods
3. create new partition call it "After Hours", etc. assign the schedule to the partition
4. add this partition to the proper CSSes and make sure it is listed first
5. Assign this new partition to  the shared line DN, set forward as desired

That's all there is to it.
