Hello all,
Here is the out of my CUCM version 8.6.221900-5 after issueing the ' Utils diagnose test' command. I issued this test on the server because the every now and then, the CUCM web pages would fail and we would have to restart Tomcat service in order for the webpages to work. This server is also integrated with Cisco Meeting place.

Hi Max,
You're facing this well known bug CSCtj50884.
Tomcat memory leaks will show up over time and will range from slow response to web service through intermittent failures for some web services and eventually no web services will work.
You can recover service immediately by restarting Tomcat from the CLI with the command utils service restart Cisco Tomcat

My problem is that I need to be able to prove the bug that I am hitting. This is my problem. As you can see from the above the bug Id that I list and the bug ID that you listed are very similar. How do we seperate one from the other?

To prove that you are hitting this bug, you need to follow the additional information in the bug toolkit for the bug csctj50884
Its detailed out to do this...

This particular defect is not the only way that Tomcat can run out of heap memory and throw this error. The .hprof file is generated by the system any time the heap space is exhaused and its contents are the only way to prove conclusively the cause of the fault. The details for CSCtj50884 in Bug Toolkit contains instructions for decoding the .hprof file if you would like to get 100% confirmation.

As Aokanlawon said, you will need test every symptom that should be associated with this bug at least as most as you can (maybe you're not running UCCX):
Symptoms
include:
- Slow response on access to UCM web pages.
- Failed Extension Mobility operations due to timeout or unreachable server.
- Failed IPCC agent logins due to failing AXL requests.
- java.lang.OutOfMemoryError in Tomcat logs (catalina.out).
