Solved: Transfer licenses from 1 cucm cluster to another

Hi Experts,

Need your help.

we have 2 sites each with a CUCM cluster.

CUCM cluster A on ver 8.6

CUCM cluster B on ver 7.1.5

We would like to move all the phones on cluster B to cluster A and shut down cluster B.

Can we move the DLUs we have on CUCM cluster B to cluster A?

They've done it in the past. Your main problem is going to be moving 7.x DLUs to 8.x so they'll need to make sure you have UCSS or else there may be additional costs. It would be the same as upgrading your 7.x cluster to 8.x.
