Trying to set the Enterprise Alt# error already in use?

I'm setting up a new phone with a recycled DN and it all goes fine until trying to set the ENT ALT #. It has an error stating that it is already in use. 

Searching for the Alt # I find it attached to a DN that is no longer in use. I know I am suppose to delete it from the Transformation Pattern just not too sure how to do that.

I am new to this position and still learning

Can you please post screenshots of what it is you’re trying to do and where you see the number being used? Your description of what it is you’re doing and seeing isn’t very clear.

If the EAN is still associated with another DN, you can either delete the DN that is no longer in use altogether or you can reconfigure that no-longer-in-use DN and remove the EAN from it.

If you want to remove unused directory numbers you can do that in CM admin webUI from Call Routing > Route Plan Report and select Unassigned DN as the filter criteria. Once you get a result you can select to remove all or individual numbers.
