Hi,
On a Cisco UC 520 with 4 FXO, suddenly without making any changes, "dial by number anytime" stops working.
When you make a call, and dial an extension while hearing the AA welcome message, instead of transfering to the extension, just says " you have entered an invalid phone number" and replays the message.
We have not made any changes to the configuration.
I note that if i ENABLE "allow external transfer" it works.
Any ideas?

Make sure you have the the extension numbers associated to a CUE user.

Update CUE software, and check again.

Check "show software version" on the CUE.

Extension numbers were blank!
That's the problem!
Could you imagine why was this happen?

Just do scheduled backups, and if it happens again, it takes few minutes to restore.
