Hi All,
I have UC7.x and am trying to setup Mobility (simul-ring). However, there are a group of users that do not have hardphones.
The requirement is for users to use unity for voicemail (for both cell and their DID's).
If the users do not have hardphones, can they still use simul-ring (their cell phones will ring) and if they don't answer, the call will go to Unity VM.
I believe they require a hardphone (that's also plugged in), otherwise the call will go right to voicemail and will never ring the cell phone.

yes it is possible. set your answer too soon and delay before ringing timers to 0 and make sure that they don't press ignore on their cell phone (if tghey do the call goes straight to their cell phone's vm).
Do not create cti route point.
create your user, create your remote dest prof, your extension (make sure cfna goes to vm) and your rem dest info associated to the extension and select both mobile phone and mobile connect (not sure if that's a bug or by design, does not work if both are not checked).
