I uploaded the part of my script that is giving me trouble; the rest has been omitted. I'm trying to transfer the caller to an external line but there is no audio and the call automatically hangs up once it hits the end. Can you help?

Rather than using Place Call step, can you try to use Call Redirect step and see if that works.

I agree with Deepak. You should define a variable and put in your number in that variable. Once you do that, select the "Call Redirect" and select the variable created and this should achieve the goal. As far as the no audio issue, have you checked with you CUCM and make sure its not like a MTP or resource issue? Typically with audio issues, the first thing that comes to my mind is resource.
