We wish to develop call recording solutions for UCM utilizing the built in bridge capability of the phones.
We have read the documentation provided here and have the following subsequent questions -
The documentation mentions that a JTAPI/TAPI CTI application is required to get the call metadata. These would require unmanaged C++ or Java development. Is there any .Net wrapper available over these or any .Net library that can be used for the CTI application ?
Where can we download the development libraries from ? Are these freely available ?
How can we test our application ? Is there a remote test lab ?
I also read for UCM v 8.5 and greater, the CTI application may not be required as recording may be possible using SIP trunking. How will metadata be available for this approach to call recording ? Does this also use the BIB facility of phones or is the media sent to the recorder from the media gateway ?
I would like to thank in advance for any help and direction.

Can you please provide the url for the appropriate devnet forum ? I checked the various devnet forums and could not find any appropriate for a UCM call recording question.
Isn't this forum moderated by the UCM and call recording experts ?
Ask the Expert : Call Recording with Cisco Unified Communication Manager (UCM)
Thanks
