Unable to call a specific pattern

Hi,

Please help me shorting out this.

We are having issue dialing a series of number (1847414xxxx). We dial this number as 31847414xxxx. While doing DNA, we don’t see any blockage, and calls are allowed as can see the complete call flow. But caller hear the message as “call cannot be completed as dialed. I don’t think there is any configuration mismatch in call manager. I enabled debug ISDN Q931 command and we see the error as - Invalid number format (incomplete number).

I tried configuring specific dial-peer to allow this call

dial-peer voice 102 pots

 description Long Distance Dialpeer

 translation-profile outgoing ATT

 destination-pattern 31847414....

 port 0/0/1:23

 forward-digits all

but still no luck.

Attached is the sh run and debug output.

Amit

How do you normally send the called number to the PSTN ?

The behaviour of dial-peer 100 (you send 10 digits) and the new dial-peer 102 you wrote (you send 31 + 10 digits) is not the same.

Moreover the dial-peer 100 already matches the number you are trying to reach.

I don't see any issue in your configuration, because in the "debug isdn q931" I see other calls to similar patterns and those calls are going successfully.

Please shutdown dial-peer 102 and redo a debug isdn q931 where you send the called number as 10 digits and see if the error is still incomplete number.

As per the debugs and cause code it is the the public network near the local user (local telco switch) which has sent the error for destination address being in an unrecognizable format or is incomplete.

Calling Party Number i = 0x2181, '7736280523'
Plan:ISDN, Type:National
Called Party Number i = 0x80, '18474142376'
Plan:Unknown, Type:Unknown

Confirm with the carrier, what exactly are they expecting to be sent out for called number, plan and type according to that make the changes on Translation Rules.
