Folks I have installed my CUCM PUB in BE6K H and I am trying to install my CUCM Subscriber in BE6K M
Connectivity is proper between BE6K H and M.
But while doing the authentication of the first node it is showing the error.
Host name, IP address, security password entered correctly.
Kindly suggest

Hi Rahul,
Please ensure that the Subscriber is added on the Publisher under System > Servers before you proceed with the install. There should be no connectivity issues between the two nodes, try adding a Subscriber in the same subnet as the Publisher to rule out any connectivity issues. If these have been taken care of then delete the subscriber entry from the publisher page, reboot the Publisher , add the Subscriber entry again and try installing it. If the issue persists then you may need to contact TAC as some cases may require TAC to login inti the shell and fix some xml files.

Hi Manish,
I have already added on the Publisher under System > Servers before I proceeded with the install. I am able to reach by CUCM PUB with the IP address but the HOST name it is unable to resolve.
When I was installing CUCM at that time I have not created the DNS entry.
Thanks

Change the System > Server entry for Pub to an IP and try again.
