Hello,
Running Cisco Unity Connection version: 10.5.1.10000-7. Having trouble uploading WAV files. Getting the error "Unable to save recording due to SSL certificate error". I've seen all the similar posts, and read about bug CSCto92753. So I added the exception to the java.policy file, but that didn't fix it. I also added my URL to the java control panel exception list.
I also read the work-around here: http://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/support/docs/voice-unified-communications/unity-connection-version-70/110950-unity-wav-issues.html#certerr which simply says "In order to resolve this issue, click Trust the certificate when the certificate warning appears.". But I don't get that option? It's just a popup that says okay.
My java is updated, and I've tried, IE, Firefox, and Chrome.
Any other ideas?
Thanks

The Media Master plugin within Unity Connection has given me much grief over the years. Whenever I need to work with the Media Master, I boot a VM that has the following:
Firefox version 17
Java 6 Update 23 (download at http://www.oldapps.com/java.php?old_java=70)
This combination seems to work well with the Media Master java plugin.
I've seen the SSL certificate errors before but usually I just need to click "Save" again after seeing the error message and the .wav will upload successfully.

This did not work for me. I spun up a Win7 32bit vm and installed firefox v17 and java 6 update 23. That all worked fine and dandy but when I tried to save the recording and I received that SSL certificate error and I clicked save again and it did not update the recording. Any ideas?
Thanks - Jacob

I know this is an old thread, but just in case anyone stumbles onto this, I have always been able to change the Playback and Recording options to "Use Phone" then I would be able to save the new .wav file I uploaded.

This solution worked flawlessly for me. Saved me the trouble of building a VM. Thanks Mike!!
