I've got an interesting issue that for the life of me, I've never seen before and I'm curious if anyone in forum land has come accrossed it and what you did to fix it.
My topology is as follows... SCCP IP Phone (7942) --> Call Manager 8.6.2 --> SIP Trunk to Voice Gateway (Cisco 2901) --> ISDN PRI to PSTN.
When the IP Phone dials a number that has been disconnected or unallocated instead of playing the carrier message the phone stops at "Call Proceed" on the phone screen. After 3 minutes (180 seconds), the phone hangs up automatically.
Has anyone come across this? How did you resolve it? I greatly appreciate any/all assistance on this one.

Mmm,
Weird, can you get a debug isdn q931 and ccsip messages from the GW so we can really see whats going on!
Please Kudos/rate if this help!

This is actually not strange. If your telco is playing an announcement, then you will need to enable PRACK for CUBE to cut through audio on session progress, otherwise you will see this behaviour. As suggested by Jose, send us the logs and we will see whats going on
