I currently have Unity ver 5 in production environment and am migrating gradually to connection ver 8,5, I have the 2 connection servers built and licensed on VMware ready to go.
Can anyone see an issue with adding the connection servers to callmanager with different Partition/css and device pool/voice ports etc to the Unity servers and run them side by side, I can then phase in connection at my leisure.
Any advice would be appreciated.
Thanks Tim

Hi Tim
Can't see any issues with this.
As an alternative if you want to keep things simple, you could just add the new Connection server as a second voicemail integration (using it's own VM ports, extension numbers on CUCM etc). You could then create a 2nd VM profile on CUCM and assign users to that as you wanted to migrate them over. Simpler than creating new CSS/partitions IMHO.
