Hi,
I did importing for the users from the UCM 7.1.5 which is integrated with the LDAP
The problem:
the STMP address in the unity connection doesn't match the email address in the call manager, it equals to the alias not to the email address of the user
Example:
the user in CUCM:
user id: m.peter
first name: mohamed
last name: peter
mail: mohamed.peter@cisco.com
after importing to the CUC:
alias: m.peter
SMTP address: m.peter@cisco.com

we used the integrated unity feature by adding the unity connection to the outlook as a IMAP server and to have two inboxes one for Emails and one for voice mails

This is normal as CUC does not have any knowledge of the user's corporate email address displayed in any other directory (including CUCM if the field is populated). So, is there a question or concern here you need help with?

Thanks dhailey for you explanation, is that mean I should have two inboxes one for emails and one for voice mails ?

Yes, Unity Connection traditionally has only provided voicemail only or integrated messaging. For you, the IMAP solution is integrated messaging and is a dual inbox solution as you have now. If you want a single inbox or Unified Messaging solution, you would need to upgrade Unity Connection to version 8.5 which was just publicly released a couple of weeks ago. It can do UM with Exchange 2003, 2007, and 2010.
