Hello -
I am running Unity Connection 8.0(3a)SU3 and need to add HA.
The question is: Can I add a subscriber after the publisher has been up and running for a few months?
- this implies not setting up new system and migrating, ...
- really, sort of "adding on the fly" if you will
We are not doing anything fancy other than single inbox. :-)
I have looked through the docs and tried to comb through the posts on the forum. I did see one thread that sounded like it was
supported on 8.5+ but that is rong version.
Thank you for any help here!
Andy

As Chris said, you can add an HA after the fact; however, it does need to be licensed. For the HA server, the license is tied to the MAC of that server (not the Publisher) and only really includes custom counts for port-based information (e.g., number of ports).

Yes, you can add HA sub at any time.
