Unity Connection 8.6 - The license will have to be re-hosted

Hello all,

I am in a situation that DNS server needs to be changed.  

So, the DNS on Unity Connection will be changed accordinly. 

Question:  How I could deal with Unity Connection license?    

When testing, I received the message " the license will have to be re-hosted".  

Should I contact Cisco to gain the new license file?

Hi,

For VM installations, license MAC would get changed if u change DNS/NTP/Hostname/IP address/GW/Mask/NTP.

you need to get in touch with licensing@cisco.com to get licneses re-hosted.

Yes you need to open a Tac case with Licensing team to rehost the license because the license MAC would get changed.
