Unity connection and call manager- upgrade versions

Hi All,
I recently upgraded my call manager from 9.1.1 to 9.1.2 to accommodate a new device package. Do I need to also upgrade the unity connection which has version 9.1.1. Is there a cisco best practice that if you are upgrading the call manager server for any issues the unity connection should also be upgraded?
