Hi all
so looking to have unity connection handler transfer a call to an external number
have setup press 1 to transfer to cucm ext which is call forward all to external number, not working however, it will forward to extsension by itself but not when ext is forward all to external number
have added external number to restriction tables but no difference

In addition to the restriction table, the calling search space on the SCCP ports or SIP Trunk are an issue. For the SIP Trunk in particular, there are several CSS fields on the Trunk configuration page. You'd be looking for either the "Rerouting Calling Search Space" or the "Out-Of-Dialog Refer Calling Search Space". I'm not sure off the top of my head which one would be involved in this call.

If so, and if the Restriction Tables are correct and correctly applied, then the next thing I'd look at is to use RTMT connected to CUC to view the port activity to see if you can see the outgoing call attempt. That will show you a) If the call is being attempted from CUC in the first place. b) What exact information is being sent to CUCM (especially the format of the dialed number). and c) What is the resulting message/cause for the failed call.
If the call is being sent to CUCM with the correct dialed digits and properly formatted caller ID, then we would need to look at the trace file in CUCM to see how it is handling the call.
