Hi,
I have a BE6000 server, with CUCM 9.1 deployed which includes Cisco Unity. One Guest VM with both Call manager and unity on it. I have a router running in SRST mode all on the same site in case of CM failure.
I would like to have Vmail functionality in the case that CM is not available, now due to the fact the CM and Unity is actually the same server, this will only be required if the CUCM database is problematic, cause if it's either hardware/vm failure unity will also not be available.
I have researched Unity integration with SRST, but everything I find relates to a centralized CM cluster with unity and srst failover in the case of Wan failure, or registering SRST with a local Unity server.
I have checked out this link that I found in other support queries, but doesn't apply as I cannot add additional servers in Unity.
http://www.cisco.com/en/US/docs/voice_ip_comm/cucme/integration/unity_connect/configuration/guide/unityconn_cme-as-srst.pdf
Is it possible to deploy SRST with unity Support and where can I find a deployment guide.
Thanking you.

Yes, but youll need CME as SRST to register the ports.

Hi Jaime,
I have deployed CUCME in SRST mode, but the problem I have is that in CUC I cannot add another server on the telephony intergrations/phone systems page. It's all greed out and only has 1 server with the local host IP, I.e. 127.0.0.1. See pic attached
Is this because I have BE6000 CUCM which has CUC installed as part of the suite. I do not have a separate CUC server.
Thanks.
