Hello All,
I have a IP PHone 7942G that is working fine with CME with SIP Protocol.
Now I would like to configure manually the IP Phone 7942G to register to Asterisk Server.
But I can not edit SIP Configuration in the IP Phone. I'm already typed **#, and the the password, and it showed Unlocked Message, but still block to edit SIP Configuration. Is there any other procedure to edit SIP in the IP Phone?

If you are talking about the network setting then you need to make:
DHCP enaabled >>>> press no
then you can change the configuration

Hello,
No, I'm talinking about SIP Configuration.
Network configuration is fine, I can change everything inside of this menu.
Please let me know some procedure to change SIP Configuration.

Can you tell me what exactly you need to change
what I know you can erase the SIP configuration but I do not know if there is a method to change manually,to erase it go to SIP configuration
**# lock
**# unlock and you will find more >> erase
I think you need to check if you are in the right way to register Cisco IP phone with Asterisk, I do not have enough information about the integration with Asterisk but what I know you need to change some XML configuration.
And while you are Cisco Employee why you need to use Asterisk

I already did erase but still the same way, I can not change SIP Configuration
