Upgrade CUCM from 10.5 to 12.5

Hi,

We need to upgrade our customer CUCM from 10.5 to 12.5. Can we upgrade from 10.5 to 12.5 directly.

And will al licenses be migrated from 10.5 to 12.5 after upgrade or we need to purchase licenses.

Read the documents listed by Java. Apart from that the licensing changes from PLM to Smart Licensing in 12, so you’ll need to plan for this accordingly.

If you have valid SWSS,  place order through MCE Tool. if no valid SWSS available, you need to get new license. Now all license are flex and you need to get new flex licenses.
