Upgrading CME on a 2901 router - licensing implications ?

I have a Cisco C2901 router running C2900 Software (C2900-UNIVERSALK9-M), Version 15.0(1)M6.

It's licensed as below;

Technology Package License Information for Module:'c2900'

-----------------------------------------------------------------

Technology    Technology-package           Technology-package

              Current       Type           Next reboot

------------------------------------------------------------------

ipbase        ipbasek9      Permanent      ipbasek9

security      None          None           None

uc            uck9          Permanent      uck9

data          None          None           None

I'm looking to use IOS version c2900-universalk9-mz.SPA.152-1.T.bin so I can get CME version 8.6

Will my current license allow me to apply this upgrade ?

Thanks.

Since your license for UC is permanent, you won't need a new license.

You can proceed with the upgrade.

Pierre.

I have a 2901 voice bundle that came with 15.0.1M5. I upgraded to 15.1.4M1 and phones stopped registering until I  enabled the eval license "cme-srst". I do not want the srst. Why was this?
